Another busy day

I have been super busy, I haven’t had time to sit down and write about anything lately. So I’m taking a minute to write about one of last week’s jobs. This customer contacted me about getting his house tinted, he’s had his previous homes tinted before and already knows the benefits of tinted glass. I had given him an estimate for the whole home, he wanted some rooms darker than the others because of the heat that they were enduring. So I showed him multiple samples and went over pricing with him and gave a quote. He had said he was going to get a few other quotes and I told him to get back with me whenever I could help him. He called a few weeks later ready to proceed with the install. Most of the house Sunteks syds 25 was used and on the hottest areas of the house used syds 15 for its very high heat block. In talking with the customer some of the other estimates he had gotten ranged from a few hundred more, up to twice as much! The customer was very happy with the price and the install and the film made a huge difference!

Syds 15 half done looks drastic but when it’s all done…

Completed window looks beautiful and clear

Old purple tint on office window

This office was looking out on his work yard, the view thru this nasty old film was horrible, it had what we call fingers that ran from the top to the bottom and was separated from the glass. I showed the customer one of the darkest film on the market, it blocks out 79% of the heat and gives almost complete privacy. The only time this film is viewable from the outside is at night with the lights on inside, as with all film you can see right in at night as if there’s nothing on the glass. When the window was done the room was darker but the view is clear and uninterrupted, the customer had walked out of the office after I removed the old film and didn’t come back in till I had the new film on the window I got a very big “WOW” he was very happy with the end results. It should help him out now with visibility and keeping that front office cooler.

Cooling off an Airstream

I had a meeting with a local paint and bodywork owner, and we spoke about Tinting his Airstream camper. We disused his concerns about wanting privacy especially when camping and the amount of heat coming into the camper, Sunteks CXP film was chosen for its high heat protection and the privacy it will give while having crystal clear visibility. This Airstream had a considerable amount of hinges and frameless windows to cut around. When this silver bullet was done being tinted the A/C will be able to work easier and not as often to keep the camper cool and comfortable now. The corner windows were extremely difficult to shrink the film to get that curved shape but everything looks great now.
