I have a customer that wants his modified widebody Mazda miata wrapped in blue chrome, he has one of the hardest cars with one of the most difficult vinyls to work with and it’s the most expensive vinyl out right now. If you overheat it, it turns white, if you overstretch it, it turns white, just doing the mirrors on my wife’s car was difficult enough I don’t think it’s gonna stretch the way I need it to. It probably took an hour per mirror to do, and I had to rip it off in the end. Vinyl has its limits as to what it can do as far as stretching, it can only go so far, I’m gonna keep practicing and take more time to work with this material.
It’s been a very busy week, I’m so happy that all of these new customers have been hearing about my company thru word of mouth, off of Google and seeing me driving around to and from jobs, like repeat customers with day old 2017 suburbans that needed their interiors and children saved from harmful heat and UV, or brand new Kias, recommended by the dealership to give me a call! And another repeat customer that got their corvette lights all blacked out, the car looked amazing when it was done. Also got to make another custom RV carpet, and all the new great people I get to talk to and share my knowledge with. I’d like to thank everyone for sharing all of my work, you will never know what it means to me, but it’s alot!
After doing the perforated vinyl window film for the entry of their office they wanted to continue the theme thru the office. The customer went onto Shutterstock.com and choose an image from their gallery of pictures, and I sent that image to my printer who rendered it to the size I needed, once it was approved by the customer he had it printed in no time, which is great because he’s very busy. I scheduled time to come out and install for them and I have to say I love the way these look, they turned out great and the best part the customer can see out of her office still, they are contemplating putting a light layer of film on the interior similar to the entry to make the design pop more when the lights are on both sides of the office the light colors of the sky and clouds make it easier to see into the room, but we can darken that up just a bit too fix that no problem!
Before interior of office lights on
After interior of office lights on you can see right out!

After exterior lights off
After interior of office lights off nobody can see in at all and you can see out crystal clear
I’ve listened to this guy for years on the radio, he’s great and he’s married to my eye Dr., Whom I’ve done alot of work for. They contacted me about getting a clear bra put on the corvette they had recently purchased and they were trying to preserve the paint. I’m not a big fan of clear bra myself, I don’t like seeing the line it leaves on the car, I’ve seen it damage paint just by removing it, many more reasons. So I told him the cons, as they had looked up the product online where he had heard all the pros, and I was telling him about wrapping. We discussed what the vinyl would do compared to clear bra, it’s not the same, but for minor things that will come in contact with the front end, in my experience is fine. Now he has a black corvette so the black gloss 3m vinyl match was virtually identical. Once the car was done it was tough to tell I did anything at all, so we got some during pictures to prove I was working!
After, hmmmm or is it
During, I knew I put it on
Everytime I see this Jeep it gets better and better, he recently added a new rear bumper and swing arm that looks serious on the back end, but today we’re working on the sides and front end, with a little vinyl. The customer found a font that he liked alot, so we went back and forth with what we could do to accent his ride, and he came up with some great ideas, it looks great, I always picture it in my head while we’re planning everything, but when you see it completed looks better than I thought. The scratches down the hood look insane! My mind started racing about what I could put on my hood now, the possibilities are endless!
Love those scratches
My customer today was in need of privacy on the main window when you walk into their business, it was like a fishbowl the customer tells me. They were looking for something with a design, beach theme that would go with the rest of the office, so we discussed using a perforated vinyl, they are great for advertising or adding a picture to deter people from seeing into areas they aren’t supposed to. After deciding on a picture to use, I got with my printer and arranged a time to print this perf, after he printed the vinyl it needed time to dry but the next day I’m able to install it! It’s sometimes difficult to give complete privacy when there are lights on both sides of the glass, but it definitely takes away from seeing straight thru, the next step is we are going to add a layer of dark film to have just a touch more privacy, this has totally changed the view for my customers when they walk into work now, they all loved it!
Plain glass no privacy, I see what they mean fishbowl
Such a difference
Beautiful view, personalized with the company name
I can’t, can’t wrap a present, you either get a racing stripe on the bottom playing peekaboo with the box, or seventeen pieces of tape and the square package is looking more round now, or you just get it in a bag, and be happy! But this fender needed to be wrapped in carbon fiber and I was up for the job, the customer had bought his own vinyl and was going to try and install himself but was having a hard time with it not being mounted to anything, so contacted me to install for him. This fender had some serious curves to it and was hard to not stretch the carbon fiber pattern, but one piece of vinyl later this fender looks totally different, it should look real good once the truck is ready for them, I see about three more in my future! Maybe I should start wrapping presents with vinyl?

That’s alot of curve
So my wife and I are driving home and a white Nissan Versa comes flying past us, well we continue on our way and a little bit later a get a email from a customer looking to get his hood wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl, he didn’t know if this would be to small of a job or if I would be interested in doing it. We decided to meet that way I can see what the car looks like in person, so we settled on the type of carbon fiber he liked then he said he was thinking about doing the pillars between the doors in black, so I showed him his options and satin black was the perfect choice for him. Just doing this little bit on his car has really changed how it looks, nobody else’s looks the same, this customer was a riot, he races this car on the weekends and beats up on all these other cars out there with this little Nissan, the stickers on the sides of the car had me laughing so hard, and now with the carbon fiber he said it’s gonna add another 10 up, hahahaha. I love working with great customers like him! Next on his list is window film, we will meet again sir!
The owner of the Kia had been so happy with everything else that has been done he wanted the hood wrapped also. So as he was dropping the car off I’m looking at the body lines of the car and the hood different lines up exactly with the windshield, so I suggested adding a little extra on the sides and follow that contour of the car around under the center grille as well. He started looking at it and thought that would look good also, so we started our application process and once we were done it looked better than I pictured in my head, the customer thought it looked great when he picked the car up, now he’s thinking about wrapping the rest of the vehicle in a burgundy color, should look great!
Changed the entire look of the car
