Been super busy, some of my latest projects have been, ceiling lights at Coast Chiropractics office, to stop from blinding the patients while they’re getting adjusted. They chose a stone pattern that looks very soothing for the patients. Another customer that had an entry that you could see straight thru the house, so she chose a bamboo film for a beautiful view and full privacy. She also wanted some heat protection on other windows in the home as well, so All Under Wraps took care of that also. I also met a great couple in Tara Woods that had their windows tinted 23 years ago and had a single pane that had broken, she couldn’t get anyone to come out for 1 pane. So once again All Under Wraps to the rescue, she had a bronze film on the windows when I put my sample up they matched almost identical, I asked again how long had this film been on the windows, 23 years she said, the film looked good for it’s age that’s for sure. Once the new piece was on the set of windows looked good as new, and I got to meet a great couple. I appreciate all the work and referrals I’ve been getting lately, big thanks to everyone!
My friend Natalie works for GRIP websites, she designs websites for as little as $250! She was dying in her office and needed me to come out and tint her windows. She already had a film on there but it wasn’t doing enough to block the heat coming into the room. So I ripped it off and we started over again, I took readings on the ground before the film came off it was about 89°, once the film came off it went up to almost 92° within a few minutes, and after I installed the new film, again within minutes the temp on the floor was down to 84°! Wow, big difference over the film but even bigger over having nothing on the glass, I also did a neighboring office in the bldg, but I forgot the after shots, but it was cooler in there too! And if anyone needs to get a start-up website going, Natalie spends a small amount of time with you to get you a great looking affordable website, let me know and I can put you in touch with her.
New film on left old film on right
I’ve known the owners of Jordan’s Automotive for quite a few months now. A great family owned and operated automotive repair/maintenance business in Ft Myers and I’ve had the pleasure of working with them for their customers Tinting needs and some of their own familys film needs. But today they needed the film on the front of the business removed and reinstalled, the sun had really beaten it up over the years, and it was time to go. I needed tires on my car as, so while they did the install of them I did the install of the film. The film the owners chose will block 79% of the heat from their waiting room and workshop, even on a gloomy day like today it made a big difference. This is one of the darker films yet the visibility looking out is crystal clear. The drive to the next job was great the new tires are a much needed improvement, big thanks to Jordan’s Automotive for taking care of my car, they are the only mechanic I trust to touch my car!
This office was looking out on his work yard, the view thru this nasty old film was horrible, it had what we call fingers that ran from the top to the bottom and was separated from the glass. I showed the customer one of the darkest film on the market, it blocks out 79% of the heat and gives almost complete privacy. The only time this film is viewable from the outside is at night with the lights on inside, as with all film you can see right in at night as if there’s nothing on the glass. When the window was done the room was darker but the view is clear and uninterrupted, the customer had walked out of the office after I removed the old film and didn’t come back in till I had the new film on the window I got a very big “WOW” he was very happy with the end results. It should help him out now with visibility and keeping that front office cooler.
Before dull faded
After bright vibrant
Before not giving great protection
After reflecting direct and indirect heat, bouncing off the ground onto the glass
Look how horrible this looks
Half the window film removed… Getting there
After crystal clear view and great protection
This dump truck driver was getting blasted by the sun, and all its heat and skin damaging UV. So we were contracted to Tint the two doors, we used Suntek 35% so that we stayed within the Florida standards, so there is no problems with D.O.T., dump trucks and other construction vehicles are on the roads almost all day, they benefit from window film as much as everyone else.
After, with addition of finger
I was contacted by a local equipment rental company that had an incident with a giant weight and the window on this excavator. He zigged when he should have zagged and the end result was a broken window and new film needing to be installed. They were in need of a very dark film to make it as comfortable as possible for the operator. This was such a large window it was nice to have the assistance of my wife to keep a second set of hands to help hold the film. Great care was taken to cover all the controls in the cab, I’m not trying to ruin this machine, as there’s alot of water used in installation. Million dollar home or dirt covered machinery I try and leave no mess at all, by the time I’m done you won’t know I was there, except it’s gonna be cooler!
Full UV protection now and a huge improvement in heat block over the film that was on the excavator previously.
